About J
J Payne is the founder and principal cloud architect behind CloudaQube, the AI-powered platform that generates hands-on labs for cloud, DevOps, and AI engineering in seconds. With deep expertise across AWS, Azure, Kubernetes, Terraform, and modern DevOps tooling, J built CloudaQube to solve a problem he experienced firsthand: waiting weeks for the right course to exist when you could just describe what you want to learn and get started immediately.
Before CloudaQube, J worked as a cloud infrastructure architect designing large-scale distributed systems on AWS and Azure. He has hands-on experience with everything from IaC-driven multi-account AWS organizations to Kubernetes platform engineering and MLOps pipelines. All of the technical content on CloudaQube — courses, blog posts, and lab structures — reflects real-world production experience, not academic theory.
