We extract the required skills from a target role or pasted job description, weight them by how senior the role is, and compare against your skill profile. The score is a weighted average — required skills count for 80%, preferred for 20%. It's a real number from real code, not a vibe check.

Where does my skill profile come from?

Every lab you complete in AI Labs Studio updates your profile. Skills you verify with assessments also count. We never make up skills you don't have — the profile reads from what you've actually shipped.

Can I paste any job description?

Yes. Career Intelligence accepts any plain-text job description. It extracts the role, the required and preferred skills, and produces a readiness score plus an action plan. Free tier allows three analyses per month; paid plans are unlimited.

How is this different from a resume builder?

Resume builders help you describe what you have. Career Intelligence shows you what's missing — and links every gap to a specific lab you can build to close it. It's a roadmap, not a marketing tool.
